Photo taken on June 7, 2018. My cycles are usually about 30 days long. This emerged on day 17. It was about as big as the end of my thumb (from the base of the fingernail to the tip of my thumb, and of a similar circumference). I never missed a period, so the appearance of this was a surprise.

After this occurrence, my period came about 3 days early and, after the usual couple of days of heavier bleeding, I spotted for ten additional days. My periods since then have happened on a regular basis (about every 30 days). They have been extremely heavy for one day, a little less heavy for the second day, and then very light spotting for a couple more days. This rate of flow has been normal for me for the past 3 years or so, although the heavy parts seem to be getting even heavier – lots of clots and blood soaking through a combo of the biggest tampon available AND a pad worn with it, and soiling clothing and chairs within a couple of hours. :-(

Anyway – It looks like my ICG test results came in very extremely low, so I guess my body eliminated what it needed to. I’m still wondering though, what exactly IS this? Any thoughts?
